Sizing spans from 3 months through size 10 depending on the piece. Mila & Rose runs true-to-size on most styles with a slight stretchy/roomy fit (great for a growing toddler — you often get two seasons instead of one). Each product page has specific length/chest measurements. If you're between sizes, size up for a longer-life fit; size down if you want the piece to fit right now through summer.

Prints are sublimation-printed or embroidered directly into the fabric, not iron-on transfers. They survive hot washes and tumble-drying without cracking or fading through normal toddler wear. Wash inside-out on cold, tumble dry low for longest print life. The tutu netting and pom-pom trims are secured with reinforced stitching so they don't come loose with normal wear.

The twirl is literally the design brief. The Just Like Magic tutu dress and the Preppy Peeps pocket-twirl dress both have full-circle skirt constructions with multiple layers so they flare when she spins. Parents send us videos all the time of their kid spinning in circles on the kitchen floor — that's the use case we designed against.

Snap-crotch rompers (like the Mermaid Fairytale Pom-Pom Romper) have metal snaps along the inseam so you can pop it open one-handed without wrestling the whole outfit off. They're the standard for anyone still in diapers — designed specifically for tired parents at 2am.

Most Mila & Rose pieces are cotton-dominant (with a bit of stretch from spandex) which is gentle on sensitive skin. Pom-pom trims and flutter sleeves are reinforced-stitched, not fabric-glued.
